It's unfortunate that there are so many bloggers these days who can't seem to make their blog focused and targeted. I've visited a lot of blogs and it's very clear that the people behind them are clueless about their target audience. For example, there's this one blog that contain information on how to make money through affiliate marketing, information on online dating, information on how to care for new born babies, etc. and it offers different type of affiliate products. Well, this isn't the best route to take. If you have to attract specific group of people, you need to make your blog focused as much as possible. Here's how you can do that:

1. Pick a niche. First thing to do is to decide on the niche that you're going to target. As you're going to talk about this niche for a very long time, ensure that you know its ins and outs. Pick something that is aligned to your areas of expertise and ensure that you will not run out of new topics to write.

2. Stick with your niche. This is the real secret to make your blog focused to the needs and demands of your target market. Avoid discussing topics that are irrelevant to the theme of your blog. If it's all about making money online, then stick with topics that can offer your readers with information on how they can earn dollars in the online arena. Do not talk about your daily activities (unless they're related of course) and other things that your readers will not care about.
