One of the things that is becoming more and more popular on the internet is the selling and promotion of E-books. Every day hundreds of transactions are made through PayPal or ClickBank for the purchasing of an E-book, which for the buyer, is hopefully going to teach them something that they will be able to use in the future.

So, how exactly do you go about making money off the internet with E-books? Well, that is what I am going to explain to you in this article and hopefully by the end of it you will have a better understanding of how it all works. If you type into Google a search for "Ebooks" you will get back a search result, at the time of this publication, of 78,000,000! That just goes to show how many people out there are interested in this hot topic of conversation.

While a lot of people on the web are selling their books it is possible to pick up free ones to get you started, which you can then sell online depending on what sort of license the e-book comes with. Let me explain the different types of licenses.

PLR (Private Label Rights)

These are by far the best sort of E-books that you want to get your hands on. Why? Because you pretty much can do what ever you want with them. You can give them away, sell them at whatever price you see fit, add to them, take bits out, combine them with other offers and you can even whack your name on it and pass it off as you have written it yourself. They really are a great thing and I would rec commend to anyone that is looking at getting involved in selling E-books to track down as many of these types as they can first.

MRR (Master Resell Rights)

These types of rights let you sell the book onto your customers and even have them sell it on to someone else. You are also allowed to pass master resell rights onto your customer so they can then sell it as a package. Of course what exactly you are allowed to do with the E-book varies depending on what the MMR states so be sure to check the license before you start selling it.

NRR (Normal Resell Rights)

This is when you can sell the item onto your customers but only AFTER you have bought the product yourself. With these kind of rights there are normally a lot of restrictions put in place like not being able to edit the E-book or add your name to it or even as far as what you can charge.You are also not allowed to give the product away.

So, there you have it. The main three types of E-books that are available on the internet. All you need to do now is ind an item that you like the look of, whip up a website and start getting traffic to your website to see your E-book. Remember, try and offer your customers something of real value when it comes to selling these things as there are a lot of E-books out there which have not been written well at all. The last thing you need is to get a bad reputation online and to start having to issue out refunds. One tactic that I like to do is to get the customer to my main website where I have a sign up form to collect their details. In return for their information I normally give them a couple of E-books for free.
