What are your interests, what topics and industries make you want to search the Internet all night long. Take regular time to look around the Internet and do some research - look for that affiliate page. There are companies out there that sell $10,000 seminars, how would you like a piece of that pie? Lots of affiliate programs are run in-house and not by the affiliate networks. And not all of them require you to have a big list and be somebody who's already "made it" in Internet marketing. Maybe the forums are discussing something that is hot and that you could get in on. Another thing to keep in mind is that what you take the time and effort to uncover has a lot less competition than programs on the much traveled affiliate networks.

Stay on Those Lists - yes, I know you are inundated with all kinds of offers and junk into your inbox but think of it like prospecting for gold, it may be a bit of work to sift through all the junk but it is totally worth it when you find that golden nugget. The work done for one is the same as one done for another - almost everyone starts out with ClickBank or Commission Junction or with something like Amazon. But here is the thing, when you go to promote a product from ClickBank you put in the same amount of time and effort than if you decided to promote another product with a higher payout. For example there are some pretty nice converting products on ClickBank that payout around $25 but what if the product you were selling paid you $500 for every sale? You would have to make 20-60 sales a week of the ClickBank product to make a full-time income but only 1-3 sales of the higher commission product.
